I’m Emmanuel Obute — a digital marketing, learning, and communications specialist with over a decade of experience helping international NGOs, nonprofits, governments, and businesses amplify their impact through strategic communication.
With a deep understanding of storytelling, branding, media engagement, and documentation, I bring a creative but structured approach to every project — from content development to stakeholder communication strategies and visual storytelling.
Who I Am
I know it sounds cliche when I say this, but I actually do believe I was born to communicate. I have interfaced with virtually all aspects of media and communications since I was 8. I turned all my school notebooks into drawing books as a child and always drew storylines. My cartooning ended prematurely, however, when my elder brother saw my drawing of two people fighting with one pinning the other to the ground and claimed I drew two people having sex. My young
mind couldn’t take the accusation. lol. Though I stopped drawing after that, my storytelling
continued.
So, from my early days of drawing cartoons to writing articles for my high school magazine to
university and professional life, I have always, at all points in my life, been in the media and
communications space. I truly consider myself one of the few lucky ones who do what they love
and love what they do!
